This polymer is a special formulation, specifically designed for Polymer Modified Concrete. When added to Portland cement, sand and water in the recommended proportions, it creates a new cementitious compound, which is flexible and possesses excellent adhesion characteristics. This cementitious compound can be used to protect and repair a variety of surfaces. OCP fortifies concrete while increasing flexural strengths, reducing the fragility of thin sections and even accelerates thin section curing. • Compressive Concrete Depot OCP emulsion is a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer with good resistance to alkali degradation. The emulsion has excellent chemical stability over a wide pH range, good resistance to high ionic concentrations and has broad usage in product and system formulations. Concrete Depot , OCP promotes excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates. Concrete Depot OCP meets ASTM C 1059 – 86 requirements. OCP is ideal for Polymer Modified Overlays and can be applied successfully to structurally sound, substrates in thicknesses ranging from 1/64"; up to several inches. OCP bonds persistently to concrete, foam, asphalt, wood, metal, tile and linoleum when properly prepared. Additionally, OCP Co-Polymer fortified overlays have exceptional durability and toughness for either interior or exterior applications.
