CAM® Gauge Rakes
The CAM® Gauge Rake is a "goof-proof" exclusive, patented tool designed for the easy application of coating material and decorative concrete overlays at pre-set and uniform depths of 1/32", 1/24", 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 1" depending on the CAM® size you select.  This is a "must-have" tool for floor coating applicators and decorative concrete contractors.  It is used for the application of a variety of self-leveling epoxies and higher mil coating products.  It is also a favored tool for the spreading of slurry-like, higher viscosity and cementitious base materials at a precise and uniform depth prior to stamping or the decorative treatment of concrete or other surfaces.  In sum, it is a tool for multiple application needs.

The CAM® Gauge Rake is comprised of an aluminum frame that comes with either a threaded handle adapter or a powder-coated aluminum handle and the CAM® (set of 2) that is placed on each end of the frame.  Each CAM® in sizes 1-8 has three contact points machined to the same depth, sizes A&B have six contact points set at the same depth and the "Small Combo CAM®" comes with five different contact points set at 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" and 5/16".  The advantage of the single size CAM® is that it does not have to be replaced as often on the work site.  When one contact point wears down below specification, you simply loosen the wing nut and rotate the CAM® to a fresh contact point.  We use a "radial" edge CAM® design which maintains uniform coating thickness, even at varying handle angles and lengths.

For Decorative Concrete overlay applications the most popular CAM® sizes are 2, 4, and 6.
